Dr. Daniel Elgut

Dr. Daniel Elgut was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Dr. Daniel Elgut attended the University of Florida where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a published thesis. He attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine where he finished with Honors.

Dr. Daniel Elgut completed a three-year Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Residency training program at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. JFK Medical Center's Foot and Ankle Medicine and Surgical Residency is in a multi-disciplinary large medical teaching hospital with emphasis on lower extremity surgery.

Since completing his residency education, Dr. Daniel Elgut has limited his practice to re-constructive surgery of the Ankle and Foot, specializing in minimally invasive treatment of complex disorders of the lower extremity. Dr. Daniel Elgut is considered a re-known doctor in his field. Dr. Daniel Elgut is published in multiple research articles.

Dr. Daniel Elgut is dual board qualified and certified in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Daniel Elgut has extensive experience in arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, regenerative medicine (stem cell therapy, platelet rich plasma, and amniotic tissue therapy), external fixation, trauma, reconstruction, wound care, and forefoot & mid-foot surgery.

Lastly, one of Dr. Daniel Elgut’s most notable accomplishments is being a core attending of Podiatric Medical Resident Education. He has presided in this position for 3 years.
