	Testimonial on Dr Ortiz	Its difficult for me to know where to begin in regards to the care I have received from South Florida Foot and Ankle Center and especially Dr. Ortiz. Two years ago ago i suffered severe injuries to my ankles and feet in an automobile accident. When i arrived at the hospital the first foot and ankle specialist that saw me told my parents he would have to amputate my left leg from the knee down They were not willing to do that without a second opinion, and with more luck then you could know Dr. Ortiz was that second opinion. He told my parents he would do everything he could to save my foot and put all the pieces back together for me. After almost a month in the hospital, mutiple/extensive surgeries over a year, and his determination I have my left foot and leg and have been walking for almost a year now. Dr Ortizs dedication is unsurpassed he learns every new procedure that may help his patients and has used many of these to fix both of my ankles. I must also tell you about the staff at his office. They are some of the most caring, wonderful and dedicated people I have ever met in life. The stress and fear i felt everyday with not knowing if id ever really recover was masked by the genuine caring these wonderful people have for their patients. To this day EVERY single time I WALK into their office I feel as if i am visiting an extended part of my family and I know I would never have made it through this horrible time without them by my side.
